If you would like to make use of the convenience of our number plate recognition system, just enter the registration plate when you book. Afterwards, you can change the number plate in the booking at any time.

With a booking at our car park at the Düsseldorf Airport, we guarantee an available parking space on the booked arrival day. We do not assign a fixed parking space number. You simply park your vehicle in an available parking space marked for the tariff class of your choice, which is indicated in the booking confirmation under “Parking area”.

Accepted Answer

The QR code is already included in the booking confirmation; it was probably just not displayed. Due to your individual security settings, the automatic loading of image files in your e-mails may be blocked. Unfortunately, we have no control over that.
If you see several red Xs in your booking confirmation, right-click one of the boxes with the red Xs in it. Then select the “download images” option. The QR code will then be displayed.
If you do not see a red X, please change the format to HTML in your mailbox settings.

Do I need to print the QR code?

The QR code can optionally be used as a printout in paper form or digitally by smartphone via the Wallet App.
If you want to use the QR code via smartphone, do not scan the QR code directly from the open booking confirmation e-mail on the smartphone at the entrance. Without the Wallet app, the QR code is scaled incorrectly when your smartphone is turned in your hand, meaning it cannot be read by the scanner.

If the QR code cannot be read by the system, press the help button. You will find this at the entrance and exit columns as well as at the automatic pay stations. The help key is marked with a telephone symbol.
Pressing this button will connect you directly to our 24-hour staffed parking control centre for direct assistance. Alternatively, call the phone number in the booking confirmation.

Cancellation – How do I cancel my booking?

If your tariff is cancellable, click on the “Cancel” link in the booking confirmation. Your cancellation request will then be reviewed by our service and you will receive a response by e-mail. Please note the cancellation conditions of your booking. You will find these in detail at the bottom of your booking confirmation.

The arrival and departure date cannot be rebooked (i.e. changed). Please note the rebooking conditions of your booking. You will find these in detail at the bottom of your booking confirmation.
If your tariff is cancellable, please rebook for the correct period on our website. Then cancel your old booking using the “Cancel” link in your booking confirmation.
Please note that this is only possible before entry. The booking period cannot be changed after entry has taken place. Please note the information on “Can I park longer than I have booked?”

Other changes – How do I change my booking details?

You can change booking details yourself at any time and without any waiting or processing times by clicking on the “Change” link in your booking confirmation. Click on “Change” to open the booking management menu. Enter your new data there and save the change by clicking on “Save”. You will then automatically receive an updated booking confirmation by e-mail.
In this way, you can change the time, the number of persons, information about bulky luggage and child seats as well as name, address and billing data.

Can I park longer than I booked?

Yes, you can park with us for longer than you originally booked without any problems. Your car will of course remain where it is. Your booking period cannot be retroactively changed after entry. It is also not permitted to add the additional days to the extension of an existing booking by means of a separate follow-up booking. No reimbursement will be made for any breach of this provision.
The additional parking fees are to be paid on-site at the automatic pay station. You will only receive a receipt for the local payment after pressing the “Receipt” option in the display area of the automatic pay station. After the additional payment, you can open the gate again with your QR code and drive out.
Despite a different return date, simply proceed as described in the booking confirmation.

Can I park earlier than I specified when booking?

The times you specify at the time of booking are not binding; they are simply a helpful guide for us. You can arrive on the booked arrival day as early as 00:01 AM.

Smart has nothing to do with your vehicle or make of car. With this tariff, you can park any make or model of car with us. It is called the Smart Tariff because it offers a more attractive value for your money.
In contrast to the Budget Tariff, a booking in the Smart Tariff can be cancelled without risk until midnight on the evening before the booked arrival day. This means that a rebooking (change of arrival and departure date) is possible within this period by free cancellation and new booking.

What is the XXL tariff?

With the XXL tariff you gain a whole extra metre of width for your car, as all XXL parking places are 3.5 m wide. The standard width of our other parking spaces is 2.5 m. The XXL tariff makes easy parking more convenient and also reduces the risk of damage caused by carelessly opening car doors. The XXL parking spaces guarantee a covered parking space in our car park on level 0, near the entrance and exit.

Please note that you are not parking in the P4 or P5 parking garages at the airport, which are also located on Kieshecker Weg.
For assistance with your journey, select the “Directions” option in your booking confirmation. This opens a free map service in which the destination point is already marked for you. You can also use this free service to calculate and display your personal route. On a smartphone, you can even navigate directly to the car entrance in your car, including voice directions.

How do I get from the parking garage to Düsseldorf Airport?

Our parking garage is only 300 m away from Düsseldorf Airport with its P4 parking garage. The distance on foot to Terminal A of Düsseldorf Airport is approx. 850 m. The terminal can therefore be reached on foot within a few minutes. We recommend our guests take the SkyTrain/night bus from the P4 parking garage, which is only 300 m from our parking garage on foot. The SkyTrain departs there approximately every 5 minutes and is at the terminal of Düsseldorf Airport in less than 30 seconds. The use of the SkyTrain/night bus is subject to a charge and is not part of our offer.
The parking garage exits display site maps including brief directions to the airport and SkyTrain station on the P4 parking garage. Take a quick photo of it to be on the safe side.
Our tip: for even more comfort, drop passengers and luggage directly at the terminal before parking. Access to the terminal for loading and unloading is free of charge for up to ten minutes. Due to the direct proximity to our car park, this is not a major detour or loss of time.
